Learning Services and Inclusion

Department Head- Brandi Lutters

Our Inclusion Support Team is based out of Room 29.  This space offers students a chance to work on their own or with support, or have a quiet place to be.  Students can get help with test writing strategies, homework/organizational support, reading and writing assistance, and study tips.

For students who have been identified as requiring additional services and supports, we collaborate with family, staff, and outside agencies as needed to create Individual Education Plans.  We also work to advocate for students, and we regularly collaborate with students and classroom teachers to set up academic or behaviour supports in a variety of learning environments.  Room 29 are safe places for any student to connect with us – we are happy to help.
