Earn Scholarship Credit for Volunteering!
Volunteer Cowichan, in partnership with Altruition, is offering a great program for students interested in earning funds for post-secondary school:
Students can begin as early as grade 10 and continue until the end of grade 12, and earn $20/hour for volunteer hours; the money is a credit towards post-secondary education.
Students can earn up to $3,000 (150 hours) each year from grade 10-12, so potentially $9,000 towards their education.
